Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast and a captain of her team in the US women's Olympic gymnastics the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as in the year 2016. In 2016, she was part of the Final Five. At the 2012 Olympics she won gold both on the floor for the team and in individual events. The bronze medal was awarded with the balance bar. This made her an the only American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to win the most medals. In the 2016, Olympics she won a gold medal in the team event that brought her and co-teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having being among the few Americans to win back-to-back team golds. The silver medals she won came from the floor individual and all-around events. Between the Olympic Games she won the athlete took a break. Furthermore she was part of two gold-winning American gymnastics squads. Gymnastics was her first sport since age of 2 and her favourite event is Floor Exercise. Aly gives her time and money to Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity to honor her late grandmother. She hopes to become a fashion designer and expand the line of leotards and socks in the near future. Fierce is a novel that she's currently writing, is due out this year.
